when i was like 1 year old, i swallowed a nail file. it never came out... could there be any damage done? could it have disintegrated? i am 15, now. could it still be in there?!?!?!I swallowed a nail file...?
If it was a cardboard type file,it disolved many years ago.
If it was a small metal file,you would have had a problem

some would say leave it alone others wouldnt.. i was watchin the discovery channel and the medical show was about utencils that are left behind after surgery .. and a man had scissors still in him that caused him pain but not infection but if he had fell he would have caused serious damage or even death.. another one had a gause left in him ..about the size of like a large hand towel and it caused him gangreen..and he was dying .. and didnt know it .. i dont know go by your gut .. your body could have set up an immunity so it could b apart of u now .. but i dont think it should cause any harm by now ..
The acids in your stomach probably dissolved it. If you get the acids in your stomach, it will dissolve metal in minutes. If you don't really feel pain in your stomach area, you probably don't have any damage done to you.
holy crap! it could still be in there, maybe like in your intestines or something. how big is it? but the stomach acids are surprisingly really strong they just sorta acid things away. you might have digested it slowly. but thats defenitely strange! maybe you should go to the doc and get an x ray.
