That would be a bad idea, the sand paper might irritate the hamster's paw pads. you might be able to find a small animal vet that can do it for you.Can i file my hamsters nails by lining a box with sand paper and putting him in it?
No!! Do NOT do that that will hurt your hamster terribly or kill him or her possibly take the hamster to the vet oe something to get its nails trimmed but hamsters are suppose to trim there nails naturally
