Whats the right way to file your nails?

ive never had my nails done so i dont know but ive been using this nutra nail green tea and my nails r growin like crazy now...so ive heard to just go in one direction and not back and forth...is that right?Whats the right way to file your nails?
I am a nail tech %26amp; you don't file in one direction. You don't saw back %26amp; forth on them either. The best %26amp; correct way to file your natural nail is from one corner of the nail to center. Don't go past the center of the nail. In other words, you are going to file in a V shape, on one side %26amp; then the other. Good luck.Whats the right way to file your nails?

one direction...never back in forth/they end up all rigid and ugly.
