How do you take good care of a nail file?

because the ones i have get used up easily. so, how do i make my nail file last longer?How do you take good care of a nail file?

You can wash them you know....If it's made of sandpaper stuff just run it under water and use your fingers to clean it off and then let it dry. The are so cheap I'm sure you can afford to buy more.
