I saw that commercial once but haven't seen it since. Oster does have a nail trimmer specifically marketed for pet nails, but I didn't see the ';guard'; that the other one has. You could also use a dremel. You can buy them at any retail outlet. They have different attachments for different jobs. You would want to use the round stone piece. Just watch to make sure it doens't get to hot. Vets I have worked at use them all the time.
