Nail File really sharpen Fangs?

a metal file I would assume no? what is the processNail File really sharpen Fangs?
I guarantee you won't be able to stand the pain. Once you file off the thin enamel layer you'll expose the dentin, which is living tissue and full of nerves. There is no way to grow new enamel. You'll have to get it crowned and possibly also a root canal. Easier and cheaper by a mile to get fake ones made to fit over your teeth.Nail File really sharpen Fangs?
Your teeth consist of a pulp (the nerve), encased in a softish mineral called dentine, coated in a hard mineral called enamel.

Any time you file your teeth, you are removing the protective enamel, and shortening the lifespan of your teeth.

Sharp points on teeth wear down over time because they are thin, are subject to the greatest forces, more prone to corrosion, and tend to chip easier.

To get to the point, you should not file your teeth unless you want to deal with potentially painful and expensive dental problems in the future.
don't try this, it wont work, enamel is one of the hardest natural substances around and is definitely harder than any metal (in fact the drills the dentists use are coated in diamonds).

go to a dentist and ask for tooth re-contouring, this should sort out the problem, its painless and very quick, i have seen contouring of canines done in under 5 minutes by a top London cosmetic dentist.
Okay... well, technically, yes, a metal file *is* a way to file down your teeth to make them sharper

BUT

1) It's really doubtful you'd be able to get it to look right by yourself, 2) It would hurt like a son-of-a-b*tch, and 3) There's a very good chance you'd really damage your teeth, aside from the obvious wearing them down.
I assume a metal file would work, but I wouldn't recommend filing your teeth. I knew a kid in high school who did manage to file his teeth to fangs and the points frequently broke off. I imagine by now he's in his twenties, very much regretting his nubby teeth. You might be able to find a dentist willing to put some sort of caps on your teeth though from what I've read it's hard to find one willing to do such a thing (it isn't very ethical, it's bad for their reputation, etc.) and the points will have to be filed about every 6 months. Since this is costly, I think your best bet is to get something like this:

That way in a few years, if you change your mind you aren't stuck looking like a horror movie extra. You may have a very hard time finding a job with any sort of extreme body modification...most employers don't want to have such a person be the public ';face'; of their company. I know right now it seems like you won't ever think differently, but trust me if I had gotten every piercing I wanted when I was your age, I would be covered in holes I'd regret now. And I'm only six years older than you. I'd say give it a few more years and see if you still really want it, then try contacting a cosmetic dentist.

P.S. Your teeth are all ';square'; because that's the way they're supposed to be. :)
if you really want this done, sit on it for a year, if you still want it, do it. a nail file wouldn't work, so go to a dentist. they will file and cap them for you. guys like erik sprague aka ';the lizard man'; and ';the catman'; have had this done. maybe look them up and see what they have to say on the subject.
NO! it will hurt! dont do it. you could ask your dentist to do it if you REALLY have your heart set on it. but it will be stupid. your dentist can reshape your teeth but dont do anything dramatic like that!

teeth do not grow back like nails do! they are there forever and arent to be messed with. you wont tollerate the pain from a nailfile. the answer is: no a metal file would not do that.

if you want a little more shape in your teeth (not like edward cullen tho!) see a dentist and they can reshape them
Don't mess with your teeth man, they're not accessories, they're for eating. In 20 years are you still going to want fangs? It's unlikely.
No. Do not do this. You will not look like Twilight and you will f**k up your teeth.
